About the exhibitors:
Rachel O’Malley
Rachel O’Malley is a Manningtree based designer and maker of beautifully crafted jewellery. “I am lucky enough to not only live by the North Sea, but also spend my days working by the River Stour in my Manningtree workshop and I feel my inspiration meets somewhere in the middle.“
“I love to create jewellery using traditional silversmithing techniques, this loosely translates as slight pyromania tendencies with a love of bashing things up, followed always by a constant and welcome element of surprise at the beauty of the metal that is subsequently unveiled.”
“I work primarily in silver and occasionally gold, but have a special place in my heart for copper and bronze as well as flame painted titanium, all very beautiful and wearable in their own right, I hope you’ll agree.” https://www.instagram.com/rachelomalleyhandmadejewellery/
Claire Fenwick
Claire is an artist printmaker based in Wakes Colne. Claire’s work explores nature based themes. She creates gorgeous cards, hand bound note books, pictures and textiles using lino printing and mixed media. https://www.instagram.com/fenwickclaire
James Lejeune
James is a Colchester based illustrator and interdisciplinary artist “I enjoy painting and blending traditional pen and ink and digital mediums. I’ve long admired the artists you represent and the creative work your agency brings to life, and I’d love the opportunity to introduce myself. My work focuses on storytelling and narrative, and I love to have a meaning behind the work I produce. I have a passion for exploring myth, science fiction and history. “
“Finding the best way to visually describe a theme or illustrate stories is one of the things that makes me feel like I have a purpose”. You can view more of James’ portfolio here: www.artbyjameslejeune.com
Bev Griggs
Wrabness based Bev Griggs is a passionate mixed media artist who will be showing some of her beautiful prints and textile creations. “I find immense joy in exploring the harmonious relationship between nature and architecture. My artistic journey is a continuous exploration of different techniques, allowing me to weave my personal touch into every piece I create”.
“One of my greatest loves is botanical drawing. There's something incredibly fulfilling about capturing the intricate details of leaves, flowers and stems. I often spend hours outdoors, sketching and photographing plants directly from nature. This practice not only helps me observe the subtle changes in form and colour but also deepens my connection with the environment.” https://www.instagram.com/belvederebubbles
